Position Summary

The Cleaner / Housekeeping Aide is responsible for providing high-quality cleaning and light housekeeping services in clients’ homes. This role plays an important part in supporting clients’ health, safety, and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces

• Clean kitchens, bathrooms, and living areas to maintain hygiene standards

• Change bed linens and make beds

• Do laundry, including washing, drying, and folding clothes

• Dispose of waste and maintain cleanliness of the home environment

• Ensure cleaning supplies are used safely and effectively

• Report any safety concerns or maintenance issues

• Provide friendly and respectful interaction with clients

Qualifications & Requirements

• Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience (preferred)

• Knowledge of cleaning techniques and hygiene standards

• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently

• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks

• Experience working in residential or healthcare settings is an asset
