Position Summary

The Driver Companion is responsible for safely transporting clients to appointments, errands, and social activities while providing companionship and support. This role combines safe driving with a caring, client-focused approach to ensure a positive and comfortable experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport clients to medical appointments, shopping, and social outings

• Assist clients in and out of the vehicle when needed

• Provide companionship and engage in friendly conversation

• Accompany clients during errands or appointments if required

• Ensure clients’ safety and comfort at all times

• Maintain a clean and well-kept vehicle

• Follow schedules and arrive on time for all appointments

• Report any concerns or changes in clients’ condition

Qualifications & Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

• Access to a reliable, insured vehicle

• Previous experience in a similar role (preferred)

• Compassionate, patient, and friendly demeanor

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to assist clients with mobility needs (light support)

• Knowledge of local routes and navigation

• Punctual, dependable, and responsible
