Position Summary

The Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) plays a vital role in delivering hands-on nursing care and supporting clients with their health and daily living needs. Working under the guidance of care plans and in collaboration with the healthcare team, the RPN ensures safe, respectful, and client-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to clients in their homes

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed

• Perform wound care and monitor healing progress

• Assist with activities of daily living when needed

• Monitor and report changes in clients’ health status

• Support the development and implementation of care plans

• Educate clients and families on care routines and health management

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation

• Ensure compliance with healthcare standards and company policies

Qualifications & Requirements

• Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) with a valid license in Ontario

• Current CPR and First Aid certification

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant nursing experience (home care experience is an asset)

• Strong clinical and observational skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (preferred)
